Ho Wood Essential Oil was Previously used for sword and knife handles because it would not scratch the fine blades, Ho Wood became more popular in 1985 when a major explosion at a Linalool-producing facility greatly decreased the available supply. This launched Ho Wood as a natural and sustainable replacement. Locally referred to as Shiu Oil in China, it is commonly used to extract its aromatic constituents.
Cautions: For external use only; dilute before use. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.
Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping) be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.
How to Use
Blends Well With:
Bergamot, Geranium, Lavender, Cedarwood and Sandalwood
Scent Profile: A middle note with a medium aroma, Ho Wood Essential Oil has a sweeter woody scent like rosewood's, with camphoraceous notes.
