Lime essential oil is an immune system booster which may help to protect and possibly decrease symptoms of colds and flus. Limes fresh uplifting smell helps to ease depression and boost mood as well as production. Lime essential oil has been known to help with joint pain. This essential oil has also been used to treat varicose veins, obesity and reduce the appearance of cellulite. You can also use Lime oil to assist in repelling bugs such as mosquitoes and ants. Lime is very effective in killing bacteria and bacterial infections, which make a great addition to DIY cleaners. Some people have used lime essential oil to help reduce the appearance of age spots and help clear oily skin.
