Fennel essential oil can help regulate menstrual cycles and help with cramps associated with menstruation. Fennel can be used to help soothe bug bites and has been linked to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles. This essential oils therapeutic properties include: Apertif, antiseptic, antispasmodic, emmenagogue, stomachic, splenic, tonic, diuretic, laxative, expectorant and stimulant. May cause photosensitivity. Fennel may cause dermatitis and should be used diluted and in small amounts. Fennel should not be taken internally.
